Student Committee of Scott’n’Wiseman

In order to keep a dance school as large as Scott’n’Wiseman running smoothly it is essentially to have support. This can come from not only the parents, carers and teachers of the school but also the students themselves. In the summer of 2008 Nathalie Cameron, Tamykha Patterson, Vicky Hitchin and James Goode set up the Student Committee to give the pupils of Scott’n’Wiseman an effective way of getting their ideas and opinions heard and also to come up with ways that the students of the school could do their part. Each year the award winners from the previous year are invited to join the committee so that those honoured with awards for working hard in the all aspects of the school, be it dance, drama or singing, are part of the decision making process.

The roles we aim to achieve for this year are:

· Updating the Scott’n’Wiseman website

· Update and assist with the signing of the Code of Conduct

· Provide a feedback questionnaire (available here)

· Come together with the entertainment team to discuss fundraising and social ideas for the year

· Assist in creating an annual Christmas Show
