Scott’n’Wiseman is a non profit family run dance school. Money generated from fees goes towards paying for our studios, teaching staff, the annual show and subsidising the costs of costumes. All unattended classes must be paid for and any pupils whose class fees have not been paid for more than two weeks will be not allowed to participate in further classes until all outstanding fees are paid. Exceptions will be made for long term sickness however the School must be notified as soon as possible.

 

CLASS UNIFORM

 

Scott’n’Wiseman has a strict uniform, generally and also dependant on the discipline of the class. In some classes where it may not necessarily be part of the uniform students are permitted to wear their uniform top for the warm-up at the discretion of the teacher This consists of either a polo or tshirt style top in grey for beginners/juniors or red for seniors.

 

Please note that jewellery of any kind is not allowed to be worn during classes and will be removed from the student if brought into class for not only their safety but the safety of those around them. Hair must be tied back for all classes and in a bun for ballet lessons.

 

Tap and Modern

Black tights

For tap, tap shoes are required. For modern black ballet shoes must be worn with jazz shoes becoming optional from grade two onwards providing that they are the soft-soled type (including split soles)

Street Jazz, Singing and Drama

 

School top

Black tracksuit bottoms

For street jazz, ONLY black jazz shoes or dance trainers are allowed. Trainers are not acceptable

 

Logoed jumpers and trousers are also available with other items such as hats and bags also being able to have the logo applied for a price.

Uniform and exam items can be purchased through the school. Please feel free to download a copy of our uniform order sheets which are also available on reception by clicking here. Complete it in your own time and hand it into reception with the correct amount of money.
